The Arboricultural Method Statement (AMS) specifies how the development will be built without impacting on the long term health and safety of the retained trees. In addition, it may contain specifications for;
Tree protection - fencing, barriers, root protection measures
Utility installation within root-zone areas
Works around tree canopies and root protection areas.
An AMS is usually required, by the local planning authority, to discharge conditions within the planning consent. It provides information to guide and instruct all contractors involved in the construction, usually contains Tree Protection Plans (TPP) detailing tree protection measures and is a working document for the duration of the project.
TRC's experience, specialist arboricultural knowledge and technical expertise enables us to identify practical working solutions to assist with the completion of any project.
